Jayvie comes from a background in print design and production from his family business. He went to college in preparation for medical school but the call of creative work has become irresistible. He has been designing websites since 2001, and has used WordPress since its first release.

Jayvie’s approach to design is informed not just by visual communication training, but other industries where design is not just decorative, but imperative, including: architecture, civil engineering and game design. For the web, research and data on the client’s customers is an important step in his process.

When he is not working, he goes sightseeing in Annapolis, MD and spends a lot of time at the gym.
